Its been announced that Embraer s Phenom 100 entry level very light business jet has received it s type certification from Australia s CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) Embraer Phenom Private JetAlready approved by Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Authority along with certification for the FAA in the USA the Embraer Phenom 100 has also passed certification from EASA the European Aviation Safety Agency. Our customers will have the convenience of being able to register their Phenom 100s in Australia. It was in 1985 when Embraer announced that they were to build a revolutionary business jet that would have cutting edge performance yet would be docile to fly offering premium comfort and low operating costs. The Phenom met all of Embraer s original specification targets and went further to surpass several other performance goals. One of these has left the Phenom with a 10 knot higher cruising speed than originally promised at 390 knots yet with a fuel consumption some 3.6 5 better than estimated. Externally noise levels are lower than ICAO (International Civil Aviation Authority) Stage IV requirements and take off and climb performance is better than forecast. Scheduled maintenance needs have been cut too. There is along interval of 600 FH or twelve months between service schedules which gives the Phenom a huge advantage over some of its rivals. The baggage bay is the biggest in the industry at 53 cubic feet or just over 1500 litres. There are more than 800 aircraft from the Phenom private jet line which includes the Phenom 300 light jet, on order throughout the world.
