Keep in mind there is sporadic night time DX conditions in progress when this was recorded. The two people talking about a “600″ watt amp are hundreds of miles away. More: The guy is obviously not using a cb radio. He sounds too good. His microphone has no distinct contact switch sound when tx is activated or deactivated. His microphone “pop” and tone suggests he is using an electret microphone cartridge. Mostly used in headsets and Amateur Radio Mics. He is likely using an EASTERN AVIONICS/KENWOOD EA-480 General Coverage, which is known as a “Kenwood TS-480 SAT” to Hams. It gets CB. This is either a truck driver with a decent ham rig or the “real deal aircraft mobile”. The evidence is pointing towards this is real. Many have made contacts with shrimp boats and private aircraft on cb radio SSB. People spin a dial till they hear chatter and start talking. Cb radio has always had it’s mystery guests. Police, Politicians, Celebrities, top amateur operators, pilots…Anything is possible on cb radio. UPDATE: On your “Private Jet Pilot on CB Radio” video.. the guys talking about 600 watt amps is myself Taz, and my friend Mr. Pain in Phoenix, AZ..
